Honourable Shri. Justice Konda Madhava Reddy, was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on 8.4.1984. Before his appointment as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, His Lordship was the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court for about a year. His Lordship was born on 21st October, 1923 and educated at Government High School, Chanderghat, Hyderabad, 1932-38 in Nizam College, Hyderabad, 1938-42 in Law College, Poona, 1942-44 in Fergusson College, Poona. His Lordship was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Hyderabad on 2nd September, 1944. His Lordship achieved eminence at the Bar and practised both on the Original and the Appellate Sides, and also appeared before the Special Tribunals at Hyderabad .His Lordship worked as Government Pleader in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh from 6.6.1966 to 5.11.1967 and as Public Prosecutor, from 6.11.1967 to 28.5.1968. His Lordship was appointed Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 28.5.1968 and was appointed as Acting Chief Justice w.e.f. 23.3.1982 . His Lordship became Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on 14.4.1983. His Lordship was appointed as Chief Justice of Bombay High Court on 8.4.1984 and retired on 21.10.1985. |
