Honourable Mr. Madhukar Narhar Chandurkar was appointed Chief Justice of Bombay High Court on 15.3.1983 . His Lordship was born 14th March 1926. His Lordship was educated in Somalwar Academy, Nagpur, Hislop College, Nagpur and University College of Law, Nagpur. His Lordship enrolled as Advocate of Nagpur High Court in 1954 and practised Civil, Criminal and Tax matters. His Lordship was appointed Additional Judge of the High Court at Bombay on 28th October 1967 and became Permanent Judge on 7.8.1968 (A.N.). His Lordship was appointed Chief Justice Of Bombay High Court and later transferred as Chief Justice of Madras High Court on 2.4.1984 . His Lordship retired on 14.3.1988.
