Born on 21st September, 1954 at Akola, District Akola. Studied at Holy Cross Convent School and Sitabai Arts College, Akola. Started practice at Akola Bar Association, Akola on 14/09/1977. Practiced on Civil and Criminal Side. Worked in the Cadre of C.J.J.D. and J.M.F.C. From 01/12/1981 till 12/11/1989 at various places in Maharashtra. Was promoted directly as Additional District Judge on 13/11/1989. Became Judge of City Civil and Sessions Court, Mumbai on 24/11/1999. Worked as Special Officer at Panaji Bench under the High Court of Bombay from 25/10/1991 till 29/05/1994. Was Additional Registrar of High Court of Bombay, Mumbai from 01/09/1994 till 23/11/1999 in Special Investigation Department. Worked as Registrar, Supreme Court of India from 26/11/1999 till 02/04/2007. Worked in almost all Departments of Registry in this period. Contributed in creation of E-Committee. Functioned as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pune from 09/05/2007 to 09/02/2009. Worked as Registrar General of High Court from 10/02/2009 till 06/03/2010. Assisted in Maharashtra Judicial Academy at Uttan, become a reality. Functioned as Secretary General, Supreme Court of India from 12/05/2010 till 12/05/2013. Contributed in National Court Management Systems being created and made functional. Assisted in Hon'ble Supreme Court in All India Judges' matter to boost infrastructure of subordinate judiciary in the country. Elevated as Judge of the High Court of Bombay on 13/05/2013. Retired on 21/09/2016. |
