Born at Aurangabad.

Passed B.Sc. from Government College, Aurangabad. Passed LL.B. In 1976 from M.P. Law College, Aurangabad.

Joined District Bar Association in September 1976 and practiced in Civil and Criminal Side. Worked as Legal Advisor to 6 Nationalised Banks, conducted several Civil Suits and Appeals of far reaching importance. Appeared in Revenue matters.

Also associated with Educational and Religious Institutions at Aurangabad.

In 1981 selected and posted as C.J.J.D. and J.M.F.C. at Nanded, but did not join.

In 1992-93 selected as Judge, Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court at Bombay and joined on 5.2.1993. Worked on Civil and Criminal Sides. For more than 5 years, worked as a Special Judge, under N.D.P.S. Act and decided matters involving international trafficker.

Elevated as Additional Judge, High Court of Bombay on 16th April 2008.

Retired on 07/05/2014.
