Mr. G.S. GODBOLEB.S.L LL.B. Born on 27th January 1966 at Solapur. School and College attended: N.M.V.School and H.D.High School, Solapur and Dayanand Law College, Solapur. Stood second in University for 1st year, 3rd in University for 2nd year, 1st in University for 3rd year and 2nd in University for 5th year in 5 year Law Course. Awarded the Best Student Award of all the Dayanand Institutions in Solapur in the year 1989 for All round performance. Completed 5 year's Law Course from Shivaji University, Kolhapur and awarded B.S.L.LL.B degree in the year 1989. Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa on 4.7.1989 and started practice at Solapur with Advocate Shri Shrikrishna E. Godbole and pacticed at Solapur on civil and criminal side till May, 1990. Joined the Chamber of Senior Advocate Shri Y.S.Jahagirdar at Mumbai from June, 1990 and thereafter started independent practice from the year 1995. Practiced mainly on Appellate side and handled Civil, Criminal Labour, Industrial and Constitutional matters. Appointed as Amicus Curie by High Court in several cases and notably in Suo Moto Petition relating to absconding accused and worked as Amicus Curie from 2003 to 2011. Was appointed as Senior counsel by High Court, A panel counsel for the State of Maharashtra. Appeared for several public bodies like Solapur University ,Agricultural Produce Market Committee Solapur, Hindusthan Petroleum Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and Government of Maharashtra, A.P.M.C. Akluj, A.P.M.C. Jaysinghpur etc. Interests in Extra Curricular activities like sports like Badminton, Table Tennis and Contract Bridge; Literature etc. |
