Justice R.G. Deshpande, M.Com., LL.B. : Was born on August 8, 1941. Enrolled as Advocate on July 10, 1969. Practised in the Nagpur High Court and all other Subordinate Courts in all branches of Law and specialised in the field of Constitutional and Service Laws. Worked as a Junior Standing Counsel for the Central Excise and Customs and Government of India and Income Tax Department from 1974 to 1983. Worked as Chief Presenting Officer, Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Bombay and Nagpur Benches since July, 1993. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on April 15, 1996 and permanent Judge on April 12, 1998. Retired on August 8, 2003.
