Justice Arvind Anant Halbe, B.Com.,(Hons.), LL.B. : Born on 19-10-1932. Enrolled as a Pleader in Surat District Court on 8-10-1954. Appointed as Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate (First Class) on 4-1-1961. Under Secreatry (Legislation) and Additional Solicitor of the Government of Maharashtra from 1967 to 1971. Deputy Registrar in the Bombay High Court from 1971 to 1973. Secretary in Commission of Enquiry headed by Justice S.B.Bhasma from 1973 to 1976. Assistant Judge from 1973 to 1977 and Joint Judge from 1977 to 1978. Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Bombay from 1978 to 1980. District Judge from 1981 to 1983 and again became a Member of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal in 1983 and worked as such till 1985. Judge, Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court, from 1985 to 1986. Selection Grade District Judge at Nagpur since 3-9-1987. Appointed as an Additional Judge in the Bombay High Court for a period of two years with effect from 23-11-1989 and permanent Judge from 28-9-1990. Retired on 19-10-1994.
