Justice G.H. Guttal, : Born on 24-8-1932. Enrolled as Advocate on the Appellate Side of the Bombay High Court. Had considerable work both in Civil and Criminal matters as well as in the writ jurisdiction of the High Court. On 8th October, 1968 appointed a Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court, Greater Bombay. Appointed to enquire into the cause for the collapse of the Byculla flyover bridge and his report was accepted by the Government and the Municipal Corporation. For a short period of two years between 1966 and 1968, he also worked as a Lecturer in the Government Law College, Bombay. Was the Principal Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court, Greater Bombay. Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for two years on 21-11-1986 and permanent Judge from 2-11-1988. Retired on 24-8-1994.
