Justice V.D. Tulzapurkar, B.A., LL.B, Attorney-at-Law. : Born 9th March 1921. Educated at the Wilson High School, Wilson College and Government Law College, Bombay. Enrolled Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 1st December, 1942. Practised Civil and Criminal cases both on the Original and Appellate Sides. Was appointed Judge of the City Civil Court and Additional Sessions Judge, Bombay on 16th July, 1956 and became Principal Judge, City Civil Court and Sessions Judge, Bombay on 19th April 1962. Appointed Additional Judge of the High Court with effect from 21st December 1963 for a period of two years. Reappointed for another two years from 22nd December 1965. Appointed Government Judge from 22nd September 1966. Appointed Judge of Supreme Court of India on 30th September 1977. Retired on 9th March 1986.
