B.Sc.,LL.B. 2004 - 2019

Born on 7/3/1960. passed B.Sc. (Mathematics) in 1980 and LL.B. in 1983. Joined the Bar and started legal practice in July, 1983. Was appointed as Additional Central Government Standing Counsel from March 1992 to March, 1998. Was assigned entire work of Central Administrative Tribunal, Ahmedabad and handled large number of service matters on behalf of the Government. Also handled large number of other matters including Land Acquisition cases, criminal matters and matters pertaining to Passports. Also appeared regularly in private matters in the High Court in various fields including Special Civil Applications Service and Non-service and Criminal matters. Appointed as Additional Counsel for the Income-tax Department in January,2000 and represented Income Tax Department in the Gujarat High Court up to December, 2001. Appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Gujarat and took charge as such on 7th March, 2004 and confirmed as permanent Judge on 12.08.2005.

Appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Gujarat w.e.f. 2nd November 2018.

Transferred as a Judge, Bombay High Court on 14.11.2018.
