Born on 3.5.1956. She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel School, Nagpur. Having secured Master's Degree in History, she obtained LL.B. Degree from Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur. She was enrolled as an Advocate on 7th September 1981 and practiced under the able guidance of her father Shri V.R. Manohar, who is an eminent lawyer and former Advocate General for the State of Maharashtra. She practiced mainly on Civil and constitutional sides. During 1980 to 1990 she was associated with the Maharashtra Law Journal and the All India Reporter. She also worked as a Honorary Lecturer at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur for more than 10 years.

Retired on 02/05/2018.
