Born on 21/6/1957 at Bhandara, Maharashtra. Completed LL.B. in 1980 from Government Law College, Nagpur. Started practice in 1980 at Sakoli. District Bhandara. Joined Judiciary on 4.4.1988 as Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Wardha and posted at various places thereafter including districts of Sindhudurg, Ahmednagar and Satara. Promoted as Additional District Judge in 1997 while working at Satara and thereafter worked as Additional District Judge at Gadhinglaj, District Kolhapur. Worked as Registrar (S.I.D) of the Bombay High Court from 1/6/2003 to 15/6/2005. Thereafter worked as Additional District Judge at Ichalkaranji, District Kolhapur from 16/6/2005 to 31/5/2008. Thereafter worked as Joint Charity Commissioner, Latur from 1/6/2008 to 3/6/2010. Worked as Registrar (Admn.) at Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court from 4/6/2010 to 19/2/2011. Worked as Principal District Judge at Satara from 20/2/2011 to 22/6/2012. Thereafter worked as Registrar (Inspection) Bombay High Court from 23/6/2012 to 31/1/2013. Thereafter worked as Principal District Judge, Sindhudurg from 1/2/2013 to 3/8/2015, Principal District Judge, Thane from 17/10/2015 to 16/4/2016 and thereafter worked as Member Secretary, Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, Mumbai from 16/4/2016 to 4/6/2017. Elevated as Judge of the Bombay High Court on 5/6/2017. |
