Mrs. Justice Mridula Bhatkar, B.A.B.J. LL.B. : Born on 28th May 1957 at Nagpur Graduated from Pune University, Faculty-Bachelor of Arts and then obtained degree in Journalism.

Graduated in Bachelor of Laws from Pune University in 1981.

Enrolled as an Advocate in February, 1982. Started practising at Pune Bar, in Civil, Criminal and Family matters.

Was Visiting Faculty at The I.L.S. Law College, Pune for two years 1990 to 1992 and one year in Department of Journalism-taught 'Press Laws' in 1989.

Entered in Service as City Civil and Sessions Judge, Mumbai on 21/4/1993.

Was selected to participate in the Judicial Training Programme in Gender and Law at the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK meant for Indian Judicial Officers under the Indo-British Judicial Sensitization programme conducted by the British Council in Conjunation with National Judicial Academy.

Conducted workshops/Colloquia as Resource Person/Trainer for Judges and Lawyers on Gender Laws.

Was Principal District Judge at Kolhapur.

Worked as Registrar General, High Court, Bombay for 10 months prior to elevation.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 10th February, 2009.
