MR. S.S. Parkar

Justice S.S. Parkar, B.A., LL.M. : Was born on October 1, 1943. He was enrolled as Advocate on July 2, 1968. Practised in the Bombay Small Causes Court, City Civil Court and the High Court in Civil, Criminal and Writ matters on Original and Appellate Sides. Appeared in Sales Tax matters for the State Government. Worked as Public Prosecutor from October, 1975 to 1980 and as the Assistant Government Pleader on Original Side from January 1981 to January 1985 and as the Central Government Panel Advocate from 1982 to May, 1990. Worked as a part-time Professor of law in Government Law College, Bombay since December 1973 till June 1982. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on April 15, 1996 and permanent Judge on April 12, 1998. Retired on 1st October, 2005.
