MR. A.S. Bagga

B.Com., LL.B.

Justice Amerjeet Singh Bagga, B.Com., LL.B. : Born on 8th April 1945. After graduating in Commerce, passed LL.B. examination in first batch of three years degree course in the year 1970 and stood second in the order of merit. Joined office of Shri. V.R. Manohar at Nagpur before appointment as Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate, First Class in the year 1974. Worked as Deputy Secretary in Law and Judiciary Department in Mantralaya from 1986 to 1990 and also worked as Professor in Govt. Law College at Churchgate, Mumbai during the same period. Later presided over as Judge of the Family Court at Mumbai for two years from 1990 to 1992. Appointed as District and Sessions Judge at Aurangabad and finally worked as Director of Prosecution at Mumbai from July 1998 till elevation as Judge of Bombay High Court on 27th September 1999. Due to retire on 8th April, 2007.
