Born on 6th June 1948. Father Shri. P.L. Deshpande is a freedom fighter.Passed matriculation from Somalwar High School, Nagpur. Completed his LL.B from University College of Law, Nagpur. Was elected President of the Students' Union of Law College. Passed Law Examination in First Division and stood fifth in the order of merit.Was member of Board of Studies (Law faculty), Nagpur University. After passing Law in 1972, started practice at Nagpur in the year 1972. Was associated with activities of Bar Association. Elected as Secretary of High Court Bar Association, Nagpur, for one term. Mainly practised in Civil, Service and Constitutional Law. Has to his credit, various reported judgments of the Supreme Court and High Court.
