Justice Vithal Govind Wagle, B.A., LL.M. : Born 6th March, 1910. Educated at Elphinstone High School and Elphinstone College, Bombay and Government Law College, Bombay. Enrolled Advocate. Bombay High Court on the Appellate Side on 10th September 1934 and on the Original Side on 6th March 1942 and practised Civil, Criminal and Matrimonial Cases while at the Bar. Joined Bombay Judicial Service as Assistant Judge on 11th November 1948, became District and Sessions Judge on 15th November 1949. Registrar, Bombay High Court from 17th July, 1946 to 16th January 1959. Appointed Additional Judge of the High Court at Bombay for two years w.e.f. 7th June, 1962. Permanent Judge from 3rd June, 1964. Retired on 6th March, 1972.
