Justice V.R. Datar, B.Sc., LL.B. : Was born on March 2, 1937. He was enrolled as Advocate on March 20, 1962. He practised for six years and seven months in the District Court, Taluka Courts, Revenue Courts and Revenue Tribunal in Solapur. He practised in Civil and Criminal matters. He was promoted as Additional District Judge in 1979 and as a District Judge in 1987. He also worked as Judge of the Family Court from 1989 to 1991 and as Additional Registrar of the High Court from 1991 to 1994. He has been working as Registrar of the High Court from December 12, 1994. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for period of 2 years with effect from December 5, 1995 and permanent Judge on 7th January, 1997. Retired on 2nd March, 1999.
