Justice Vijay Shivram Kotwal, B.A., B.Sc., LL.B. : Born on 23rd November 1929. Enrolled Pleader on 5th December, 1953 and Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 25th July, 1962. Practised on the Appellate Side of the Bombay High Court in Civil, Criminal and Writ matters, Civil and Criminal practice in District and Sessions Courts at Dhule, Nasik, Jalgaon, Aurangabad and Thana and conducted Civil suits, land references as well as Sessions cases. Conducted some matters in the Supreme Court of India. Part-time Professor at Vidhya Vardini Sabha's Arts and Commerce College, Dhule since 1969 and was a member of the Governing Council of the Sabha. Part-time Professor, Law of Contract, Law of Torts and Law of Evidence in Dr. Ambedkar Law College, Dhule and Examiner in Mercantile Law and Industrial Law, B. Com. Examination held by the Pune University. Appointed Additional Judge, Bombay High Court from 10-8-1978, and permanent Judge on 18-10-1979. Due to retired on 23-11-1991.
