| The building was constructed from designs by lt. Col. J. A.
Fuller R. E. at a cost of Rs. 16,44,528 as against the estimated cost of
Rs.16,47,196. The building was completed in November 1878.
It consists of the ground and three upper floors. |
| This frist phase of centrally located magnificent High
Court edifice-constructed at a cost of Rs, 350 Lacs, having 6,202.18
Square Metres built up area-has been opened in the month of June
1995. The construction of second phase is in progress. |
| The building was designed by Mr.H.A.N. Medd who was the
Resident Architect from December 1935 to June 1939. It was
constructed at a cost of Rs. 7,37,749. The building foundation
stone of which was laid on 9th January 1937 was declared open on 6th
January 1940. |
| The Building which now houses the High Court Of Bombay at
Goa, Panaji was constructed the year 1925 by the Portuguese Government.
The Building was inaugurated by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice of
Bombay High Court, Shri M.B.Shah, on 2nd October 1997. The
total amount incurred for the renovation of this building is Rs.
1,72,64,393. The High Court of Bombay at Goa, panaji, started
its functioning in this building from 3rd November 1997. |
