Born on 26-1-1960 in a family of lawyers.
Did B.Com., LL.B., Bombay University. Enrolled as an
Advocate on 28-6-1983. Practiced on Original as well as Appellate
Side of Bombay High Court at Bombay. Handled almost all types of
Civil and Constitutional cases including Service matters and Election
petitions. Represented leading Banks, Financial Institutions,
Corporate Houses and Multinational Firms as well. Keenly interested
in Table Tennis, Cricket, Reading and Writing. Actively associated
with Legal Aid Movement. Was member of Board of Studies on Law,
University of Mumbai. Also associated with Bar Council of
Maharashtra and Goa as member of the Disciplinary Committee of Bar
Council of Maharashtra and Goa. Was member of the Managing
Committee of the High Court Library for the past several years.
Associated with several institutions, working for eradication
of Leprosy. Elevated as Additional Judge, Bombay High Court on
14-11-2003.
