Born
on 24th April, 1956 at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Passed H.Sc. in 1972. Had
High School education in S.F.S School Nagpur, and College education in
S.F.S. College, Nagpur. Obtained B.A. Degree in 1975 from Nagpur
University. Obtained LL.B. Degree from Nagpur University in 1978.
Participated in elocution, dramatics and sports. Played Tennis on the
University College of Law team which won the inter-collegiate
championship. Also played for the Nagpur University in the All India
Inter-Universities Tournament. Enrolled on the Roll of the Bar Council
of Maharashtra on 13th September 1978. Continously practised at the
Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court with appearances at Bombay before
the principal seat and before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India for
over 21 years. Designated as Senior Advocate in 1998. Elevated to the
Bench of the Bombay High Court on 29th March, 2000 as Additional Judge.
