Born on 02.09.1950 at Sangli,
Dist-Sangli(Maharashtra). Completed secondary education at
Pune. Obtained degree of Law from Shivaji University,
Kolhapur. Stood 2nd in the Rank of merit in the L.L.B Exam.
Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of Maharashtra on
21.01.1982. Started practice at Ichalkaranji. Since the year 1984
started practice in the District Court at Kolhapur and various courts
in the Kolhapur District. Both at Civil and Criminal sides.
Appointed as Judge of Bombay City Civil Court and Sessions Court on
28.01.1993. Acted as Special Judge under the N.D.P.S. Act to
conduct the trials of the foreign nationals only. Handled civil
and criminal assignments. Acted as a Special Judge under the
Prevention of Corruption Act. Transferred to Raigad district, at
Alibag as Principal District and Sessions Judge in April 2007.
Elevated as an Additional Judge at the Judicature of the High Court of
Bombay on 10.02.2009.
