Justice Shri Ashok Pitambar Bhangale Born on 19th September 1953 at Jalgaon.  Graduated in Arts and Law from Jalgaon.(University Of  Pune). Took Master's Degree in Laws from Bombay University.   He was Hindu Law Scholar,  University of Pune, 1976.  Enrolled as an Advocate on 14th September 1977 Joined Chambers of his illustrious Father Late advocate Shri P.B. Bhangale and practiced on civil & criminal side.  Served as part-time lecturer in Mercantile and Industrial Law at M.J. College Jalgaon from August 1980 till joining Judiciary. Also worked as Asst.Govt.Pleader & Additional Public Prosecutor from June 1986 till Joining Judiciary. Joined Judiciary on 19th September 1989 as Judge of the Bombay City Civil & Sessions Court at Mumbai and had served as Special Judge under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act 1999 and Special Judge under the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2002, Also served as Chairman of the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal and State Transport Appellate Tribunal at Mumbai from May 2006 till September 2006. Appointed and served as Principal Secretary & R.L.A., Law & Judiciary Department State Of Maharashtra from 26th September 2006 to 4th May 2007. Appointed as Principal Judge of the Bombay City Civil & Sessions Court from May 2007 till his elevation as Judge of the Bombay High Court.  Also served as Chairman of the Brihanmumbai District Legal Service Authority.  Elevated to Bombay High Court on 16/04/2008.
