Justice Gopal Krishna Nagappa Vaidya, M.A., LL.B. :  Born 11th February 1923.  Educated at Shri Marikamba High School, Sirsi (North Kanara), Karnatak College, Dharwar, S.P. College, Poona and Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics.  Enrolled as an Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 27th September 1946.  Practised as Advocate principally on the Appellate Side of the High Court Bombay and also as Assistant Government Pleader, High Court and Advocate for Government of India in certain matters in the High Court.  Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of one year with effect from 3rd April 1968.  Appointed permanent Judge on 12th March 1970 (A.N.).  Retired on 11th February 1985.
