Justice Madhav Laxman Pendse, LL.B. : Born on 11th December, 1935.  Educated at Ram Mohan High School, Girgam, Bombay, Wilson College, Bombay and Government Law College, Bombay.  Enrolled Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 2nd August, 1958. Practised on the Appellate Side, Civil, Criminal and Writ. Appointed Additional Judge of the High Court with effect from 25th January 1978. Appointed permanent Judge on 11-1-1979.  Appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court from 1st April, 1995.  Appointed as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court on 28th July, 1995.  Resigned on 25th March, 1996.
