Justice Hoshang Dinshaw Patel, B.Sc., LL.B. : Born on 16th July, 1931.  Enrolled Pleader in 1954 and Advocate on 6th October, 1956.  Had General Practice in Labour, Industrial and Service matters.  Had been Adviser to three Departments of the State Govenment, Council for Maharashtra State Electricity Board, and Adviser and Standing Counsel to several textile Mills, Steel and Ferro-Manganese Plants, Litho Industry in the Vidarbha region.  Had been part-time Lecturer in Law College Nagpur, Member of Executive and Office-bearer of High Court Bar Association. Appointed Permanent Judge on 7th July, 1983.  Retired on 16th July, 1993.
