Sujata Vasant Manohar, M.A.(Oxon), Barrister-at-Law : Born on 28th August, 1934.  Enrolled Advocate on 14th February, 1958 at Bombay.  Practised in the Bombay High Court on the Original Side.  Appointed Assistant Government Pleader, City Civil Court, Bombay during 1970-1971.  Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 23rd January, 1978 and permanent Judge on 28th November, 1978.  Appointed as Chief Justice of Bombay High Court on 15th January, 1994. (A.N.).  Transferred as Chief Justice of Kerla High Court 21st April, 1994.  Appointed as Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 8th November, 1994.  Retired on 28-8-1999.
