Justice Bakhtavar Lentin, LL.B. Bar-at-Law :  Born on 25th July 1927.  Was called to the Bar (Middle Temple, London) on 26th January, 1950, and signed the Roll of Barristers of the High Court of Justice, King's Bench Division, on 27th January, 1950.  Enrolled as an Advocate on 22nd March, 1950 in the High Court at Bombay.  Practised in Civil and Criminal matters in the High Court and in the City Civil and Sessions Court.  Appointed a Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court on 22nd March, 1965 and as Additional Principal Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court on 16th April, 1970.  Appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court at Bombay with effect from 28th March, 1973. Appointed permanent Judge on 27-3-1975.  Retired on 25-7-1989.
