Justice Narayan Dassopani Kamat, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B. : Born 21st September 1914.  Educated at Sardar High School, Belgaum; Karnatak College, Dharwar and Law College, Poona. Enrolled Lawyer in Dharwar District in August 1938.  Did all kinds of work both Civil and Criminal work at Haveri , District  Dharwar, Dharwar.  Entered Judicial Service as Civil Judge, Junior Division in August 1948.  Promoted Assistant Judge in April 1953 and District Judge in October 1958.  Registrar, High Court, Bombay for 4 years from May 1963 to May 1967.  Appointed Additional Judge, Bombay High Court on 3rd April 1968.  Re-appointed for two years, w.e.f. 3rd April 1969.  Appointed Permanent Judge on 9th April 1970 (A.N.).  Retired on 21st September 1976.
