Justice Vasant Vishnoo Joshi, B.Sc., LL.B. :  Born on 29th September, 1921. Educated at Government Marathi High School, Amravati, Patwardhan High School, Nagpur, Christian High School, Jabalpur; Monoroe High School, Bandra; College of Science, Nagpur and University College of Law, Nagpur.  Pleader at Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh) from July, 1943 to June, 1945.  In June, 1945, appointed temporary Subordinate Judge at Chhindwara.  Appointed Civil Judge on probation from 8th December, 1947 and confirmed as Civil Judge on 8th December, 1949.  Appointed Assistant Sessions Judge in 1960 District and Sessions Judge on 4-5-1974.  Appointed selection Grade District Judge on 1st August, 1974.  Registrar of the Bomaby High Court from 1976 and appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from 20th January, 1978. Appointed Permanent Judge on 28-11-1978.  Retired on 28-9-1983.
