Justice Madhukar Shankar Jamdar, M.A., LL.B. :  Born on the 14th November, 1924. Enrolled Pleader on 10-3-1947; Advocate at Sholapur on 15-6-1962.  Practised on Civil, Criminal and Labour Sides, Appellate as well as Original, in all Courts in the Sholapur District, Labour Courts. Pune and Bombay and Industrial Court, Bombay.  Assistant Judge on 1st February, 1967, and District Judge on 24-11-1969 and promoted as Selection Grade District Judge and, Inspecting Judge, Thane on 9-9-1976. Part-time Professor of Mercantile Law, D.V. College of Commerce from 1954 to 1964, and also as part-time Principal, Dayanand Evening Law College, Sholapur from 1964 to 21st January, 1967.  Member of Academic Council , Senate and Law Faculty of the Shivaji University from 1964 to 1967.  Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from 12-1-1979. Appointed Permanent Judge on 9-1-1981.  Retired on 14-11-1986.
