Justice Chintaman Tukaram Dighe, B.A., (Hons.), LL.M. : Born 6th December, 1916.  Educated at New English School, Thana, B. J. High School, Thana. St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, and the Government Law College, Bombay.  Enrolled Advocate on 28th August, 1940.  Sanad for Thana and Bombay Suburban District on the Appellate Side of the Bombay High Court.  Did Civil, Criminal and Original including Sessions and Appellate work in the Thana District Court and Courts subordinate to it.  Civil Judge from 20th February, 1947.  Assistant Judge from 2nd August, 1960 and as District Judge from 30th June, 1962.  City Civil Criminal Judge and Additional Sessions Judge from December, 1967.  Appointed Additional Judge of Bombay High Court for two years w.e.f. 17th October, 1974.  Appointed Permanent Judge on 1st September, 1976 (A.N.).  Retired on 6th December, 1978.
