Justice Dattatraya Balkrishna Deshpande, LL.B. :  Born on 20th January, 1922. Passed the Advocates Examination of the Bar Council, Bombay in April 1943 and practised at the Bar in Sholapur and Akalkot, Civil, Criminal and Revenue Courts, from 1-6-1943 to November, 1951.  Appointed Joint Civil Judge (J.D.) Melagaon in November, 1951 and District and Sessions Judge in July 1972 from December, 1974 to November, 1976, worked Judge, City Civil and Sessions Court, Greater Bombay.  District and Sessions Judge Nagpur from November, 1976 to July 1977 and appointed as Additional Registrar of the Bombay High Court on 1st August, 1977.  Since 20-1-1978 till his elevation as Judge of the High Court worked as Registrar, Bombay High Court (Appellate Side).  Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from 27-4-1979. Appointed Permanent Judge on 15-10-1982.  Retired on 20-1-1984.
