Justice Sharadchandra Krishnaprasad Desai,  B.A.,(Hons.), LL.B. : Born on 27th October, 1928.  Educated at New Era School, Bombay.  Wilson College, Bombay, and Government Law College, Bombay.  Enrolled as an Advocate on 18th November, 1949 in High Court at Bombay.  Practised on the Original Side of the Bombay High Court and in the Bombay City Civil Court from 4th July, 1950 upto 17th March, 1964.  Appeared in all types of Civil cases arising in the City of Bombay and, in particular, in  Commercial and in Company matters. Also appeared in some matters before the Gujarat High Court in 1963 and 1964.  Appointed Judge of the Bombay City Civil Court and Additional Sessions Judge, Greater Bombay, on 18th March, 1964.  Appointed as Principal Judge, Bombay City Civil Court and Sessions Judge, Greater Bombay, on 25th May, 1969.  Appointed as an Additional of the High Court at Bombay with effect from 15th April, 1970 (A.N.). Appointed permanent Judge on 8-2-1972.
