Justice Gustavo Filipe Couto, 'Licenciatura en Direito' (Lisbon University)  :  Born on 16-3-1928.  Appointed "Delegado" on 12-8-1954 in Goa.  Appointed Comarca Judge on 5-6-1962.  Appointed Additional Sessions Judge and Civil Judge on 19-5-1973.  Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in 1974.  Appointed District and Sessions Judge on 2-1-1980.  Promoted as Additional Judicial Commissioner on 7-9-1981.  Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of two years on 30-10-1982. Appointed Permanent Judge on 20-12-1982.  Retired on 16-3-1990.
